This week's focus is green cleaning. At least, that's the current plan.
I purchased Ecover Delicate Wash about a month ago, after coming across it in the organic section in my local Ukrops (on Richmond Road in Williamsburg). I have a front-load washing machine, and had been using Tide Free (unscented) HE. Back in the day, I used Woolite for my delicates, but they don't have an HE version. So I used the Tide Free and dreamed of a delicate wash for my front loader.
I've been pleased with Ecover - you need a cap & a half of detergent for a full load. I typically have a half a load, so this bottle is lasting me awhile. It claims 22 loads, but I'm guessing I'll get 50-60% more loads than that. My clothes come out clean and fresh-smelling (it has a light citrus scent). I also used it to launder an afghan from my grandmother, and it worked great.
Ecover Delicate gets an A in my book.
